Keep the Bearing Area Sealed Up

The protection rings sit around the drive-unit bearing area to help keep dirt and contamination away from one of the more exposed parts of the motor. Fresh grease under the ring adds another layer of protection and is renewed during service.

Bosch supplies this set with five replacement protection rings and bearing grease for compatible BDU2xx drive units. It works for routine replacement as well as retrofit service where the protection ring needs to be added or renewed.
