The DT Swiss DEG DF Upgrade Kit offers a lightweight solution to pedal kickback by controlling chain pull inside the freehub. Reducing drivetrain tension during suspension compression, it improves bike movement over rough terrain and enhances control on descents. Compatible with all Ratchet DEG freehub systems, it replaces the threaded hub ring and ratchets, allowing riders to choose between 0°, 10°, and 20° of freehub movement.

Engagement Angles

• DF 0°: Maintains rapid Ratchet DEG engagement with no added freehub movement - ideal for cross country riding
• DF 10°: Adds 10° of free rotation before engagement to reduce pedal kickback - well suited to all mountain setups
• DF 20°: Provides 20° of free rotation for maximum pedal kickback reduction - designed for enduro and downhill riding
