Building on the award-winning, tried-and-tested Rear Mudhugger design, the brand has introduced three significant improvements over the original 2012 Rear Mudhugger:

1. Reusable quick-release Velcro straps make fitting and removing the Mudhugger a matter of seconds, with the straps attaching to helitape-protected seat stays.
2. Rubber inserts where the Mudhugger rests on the seat stays improve grip and enhance damping.
3. A new push-fit BB extender protects bearings and the BB area from mud and debris buildup, even in the most extreme conditions. Designed to be as thin as possible, it can be easily trimmed to fit most bike rear triangle designs.*

*If your seat stay brace is very close to the tyre, you may not be able to use the BB extender. Please contact us for assistance.

Fitting Instructions

• The brand recommends that you periodically check the condition of the helitape for signs of wear. Spare packs of helitape are available to order. Replace as necessary.
• Regularly check the Velcro for buildup of dirt, etc., and wash and dry as required. Replace if there are any signs of tearing or if the Velcro hook and loop become worn and lose their stickiness. Spare Velcro straps are available. Zipties can also be used to fit the MK2 Rear Mudhugger to your bike if you choose to do so.

**Please ensure you use the helitape provided with the rear Mudhuggers. Invisiframe and electrical tape are not sufficient to protect your bike's paint and frame. Regularly check the helitape for signs of wear and the tightness of the zipties (if used).
